At SkillsReach, we are delighted to be partners in the Skills Support for the Workforce programme. This strongly-backed local programme includes:
WorldHost Customer Service Excellence Training
The WorldHost customer service training has been used to train over one million people worldwide, including tens of thousands of Volunteers and staff at the 2012 London Olympics and Paralypmics, who were widely praised for the fantastic welcome they gave to visitors. The project provides an opportunity for Greater Lincolnshire customer-facing staff to gain WorldHost accreditation as well as a recognised qualification – for free!
Who can benefit?
The programme is designed to support the widest range of businesses that operate within the Visitor Economy – from bed and breakfasts, cafes, restaurants, visitor attractions through to retailers.
If your business is based in Greater Lincolnshire, employing less than 250 staff (full time equivalent), and striving for the best in customer service then you are eligible to apply for fully-funded support for your front line staff and management team to gain WorldHost recognition, for themselves, your business and maybe contributing to World Host Destination status for your local area.
How does it work?
The programme is delivered as a partnership between a wide range of Greater Lincolnshire Training organisations and local visitor economy leaders such as Visit Lincoln, Visit East Lincolnshire. Eligible businesses can either run in-house World Host workshops at their premises for their own teams or send staff to a range of World Host open workshops that will be held around Greater Lincolnshire.
What are the benefits?
Greater Lincolnshire customer facing businesses can improve their customer service offer and customer service profile by:
- Send their staff to fully-funded high profile WorldHost customer service training
- Arrange in-house WorldHost workshops for their teams
- Become recognised as a WorldHost recognised business if more than 50% of their customer-facing staff successfully complete a WorldHost course.
- Contribute to WorldHost Destination status for their locality in areas such as the Cathedral Quarter of Lincoln and Skegness
