A brand-new, pilot programme supported by Lincolnshire County Council with the backing of Lincolnshire & Rutland Employment and Skills Board. We can’t all be expert at everything, but getting the right staff lies at the heart of successful business. Effective recruitment and selection, combined with robust induction and probationary processes is proven to reduce staff turnover and increase business productivity. This innovative programme provides direct, free business support to Lincolnshire SMEs to improve employee recruitment and induction processes, understand better the wide-ranging public and private sector support available, and ultimately have a positive impact on business success.
Who can benefit?
If your business is based in Lincolnshire, employing less than 50 staff (full time equivalent), and with staff recruitment and retention as a priority, then you are eligible to apply for support. A very limited number of places may also be available for Lincolnshire businesses with between 50 and 250 employees. The project starts in October 2014 and will finish no later than March 2015.
How does it work?
Your business will receive specialist, tailored one-to-one advice from qualified Human Resource Management professionals to improve your recruitment and induction processes. There is no worry that the support won’t suit your needs, as it will be completely unique to you, reflecting your own business priorities, challenges and opportunities.

There is also grant funding of between £200 and £750 to help with recruitment and retention processes.
